Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Their purpose is to make the site work better and provide a more personalised experience.
2. What we use
Blueprintable Design (blueprintabledesign.com) uses essential cookies to remember your privacy choice. Optional marketing tools are loaded only after consent.
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the site to function and cannot be disabled.
- Cookie preference — remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies. This is stored as a first-party cookie.
- Optional email submissions — when you submit a form, your email is sent to the form provider shown in our Privacy Policy. We do not store your email in browser localStorage for free downloads.
- blueprintableCart — stored locally for session use only; no active cart system.
2.2 Functional cookies (require consent)
These improve the experience but are not essential.
- Google Fonts — fonts (Crimson Pro, Work Sans) are loaded from Google servers. Your browser sends your IP address to Google as part of this request. See Google's Privacy Policy. If you decline cookies, fonts fall back to system alternatives.
2.3 Analytics cookies (require consent)
We do not currently use any analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.). If we add them in future, we will update this policy and request separate consent.
2.4 Marketing cookies
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising purposes.
3. Third-party services that process data
- Formspree (formspree.io) — used to process contact forms, waitlist sign-ups and free download requests. Receives your email address. Privacy Policy Formspree.
- Payhip (payhip.com) — delivers current free digital resources and may process payments if paid products are introduced later. Payhip may set its own cookies when its checkout/download flow opens. Payhip Privacy Policy.
- Stripe (stripe.com) — may be used later if paid products are introduced. Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — provides the website fonts. Privacy Policy Google.
- Netlify — hosts the website. May store server logs (IP, browser, pages visited) for up to 30 days. Privacy Policy Netlify.
4. How you can control cookies
You can accept or decline optional cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your preference at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer.
You can also manage cookies directly in your browser:
Note: clearing cookies in your browser will reset cookie preferences.
5. Local storage (localStorage)
We avoid storing email addresses in localStorage for free downloads. Some non-sensitive interface preferences may still use localStorage when needed.
6. GDPR rights
As an EU resident, you have the right to: access your data, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing.
For any request, contact us at: blueprintabledesign@gmail.com
7. Changes
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you by updating the date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
